Good start into 2020
We have run into 2020 at full speed. Just two months in, and so much has happened: we have changed our name to Eryk, welcomed new colleagues, started new collaboration within intralogistics and hosted the Danish Export Association B2B network: Executive Management Forum in Szczecin.

Danish TOP Managers in Szczecin and at our office!

Executive Management Forum under the Danish Export Association took part mid-January at our premises and continued with a tightly packed schedule, taking the participants to JVP STEEL, IQ Metal A/S, KK Wind Solutions and DGS Poland Sp. z o.o. Our guests had a possibility to hear about business perspectives in Poland from the Danish Ambassador to Poland- Ole Egberg Mikkelsen and Jacek Wójcikowski – Director of Center of Economic Initiatives, Westpomerania. Who knows, maybe we will see some of these companies in Szczecin or in Westpomerania soon?

Eryk - the New Brand

BIC has become Eryk! Now all our branch companies located in: Denmark, Poland, Norway, Germany and Ghana have a new name. As a part of our rebranding we will soon move our email correspondence to @eryk.com addresses – please do not be alarmed if the messages come from new senders. It is still the same people, but with new email addresses.
 
Please also note, that some of the documents, certificates and contents may still contain our former name, as we are in the transition process.
 
The name has changed, but we are still the same 😊

Solystic – accompanied by Eryk in the strategic business repositioning
One more collaboration in the area of intralogistics has started recently! This time, we assist Solystic in their strategic transition from letter-handling to parcel-handling industry and we were happy to hear their thoughts on our relation.
 
Nicolas Sorbe of Solystic’s procurement department said, We have long-term relationships with some of our service providers, lasting 15-20 years and we have good reason to believe that we have a long future ahead with Eryk too. Read more on our website.

New ISO certification
We are pleased to announce that we have recently been audited and found to comply with ISO and OHSAS standards:
 
• ISO 9001:2015 for quality management system,
• OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety management systems.
• ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and
• ISO 26000:2010 compliance with corporate social responsibility standards.

At Eryk, it is a tradition to give our new colleagues a warm welcome, when they join the company. So naturally we did the same for our new promising technicians: Marcel and Gabriel. They already shared with us some interesting observations.
