Spring 2022 - new hopes and new challenges

Where are we at the start of 2022? Out and about 😊 
As a technical service provider working across borders, we are constantly in motion. Not only our electricians and mechanics travel the world, but also our Sales & Marketing Department and Key Account Engineers. In the last weeks and months we had quite many occasions to travel a bit further than during 2021, to network with the existing and new customers.

Electrical installations in a biogas facility

 
Did you know that Denmark is Europe’s leader in the production of biogas? Some forecasts indicate that by 2030 the Danish gas demand will be covered by biogas to the degree of 75%. By 2034, biogas production is expected to cover all Danish demand on a yearly basis.
In March we visited one of such sites to take a couple of pictures of our technicians at work. We would like to thank our customer Lillegaarden for having us there and for so much nice feedback about our performance 😊.

B2B networking and fairs on the rise again!

 
Eryk has always been very active in searching for and approaching new customers. After a few harder quarters, we are now happy to see that live events are coming back: some of the hot destinations in April was Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen and we are looking forward to continuing our travel streak during the next couple of months.
 
We will soon visit fairs in Frankfurt, Dortmund, Kortrijk (NL), Munich, Stuttgart and a few more. Some of the closest are: Intralogistica Italia, IFFA in Frankfurt, Logistic & Distribution in Dortmund or Logimat in Stuttgart. With every visit we are more and more convinced that, when it comes to business partnerships, nothing will replace the face-to-face talk. 
We can't wait to meet our new and old friends across Europe!

Jacek's 10th anniversary at Eryk. Congrats and thanks!

 
Just a few weeks ago we celebrated 10 years at Eryk of our valued colleague - Jacek Dwornik (holding a diploma in the photo above).
Jacek is a Senior Electrical Technician. He played a significant role in many industrial automation projects - including big fulfillment centres, automotive facilities and other production sites installations. He joined the company when our staff was only about 50 people.
Today we are more than 4 times that number, and we appreciate Jacek's contribution to that growth: his dedication, attention to detail, flexibility and loyalty were the critical factors to his development and Eryk's as a whole.
Jacek, thank you for your commitment, we will be proud to celebrate all your future anniversaries too!

CSR report 2021

See what our involvement was last year

 
We entered 2021 frustrated by the events of 2020, but looking back, 2021 was a good year for Eryk, all in all. In spite of the ongoing pandemic challenges and the supply-chain crisis that many companies around the globe were, and still are facing, the world of business saw a light of hope – future business travels, face-to-face meetings and networking events now seemed within reach. Many of us rolled up our sleeves for vaccinations and boosters so we could stay safe and healthy, and we kept the sleeves up as there was more work to be done.
 
It is with great pleasure that we present the 5th annual CSR report of Eryk Group.

The perks of being an international service provider

 
There are many perks of being an international service provider. One of them is visiting interesting places, where our customers or their projects are located... of course if time allows it.
As you see in the photo, we recently had the chance to visit the Ferrari 💖 museum, earlier also Porsche or VW. Those of you who already have it on their bucket lists, might be a bit jealous.. Sorry 😉
Soon, our Sales Team will start our summer visits at our customer's offices. Let's see if there is enough time to "see a bit of the world" on the way 😎

Our project locations in 2021

Travelling is a major part of our daily work which was highly challenged by the global pandemic situation - but even so, our electricians and mechanics still managed to provide our services, according to all safety measurements, in 19 countries! Most of the projects were in Europe, but there were also some further destinations like: USA, China, Egypt, and for the first time: Canada.

Stand with Ukraine

Eryk supports Ukraine. So far, we have sent 30.000 euro directly to the special account opened to raise funds for Ukraine’s Armed Forces. 
 
Why are we writing about this? We want to serve as an example and inspire the readers of this newsletter to join. Most private contribution to Ukraine goes to humanitarian help where it is desperately needed, as the scale of human suffering is enormous. But now we see that to stop the human suffering, Ukraine must win the war in the military sense. We do not want to stand aside and carefully balance the sides. This is not only a Ukrainian war against Russian aggression; this is also our war which is being fought on our behalf with Ukrainian hands. The least we can do is send financial support from the safety of where we are located.
This is our call to join the effort. The stakes in this war are our own values and future.
