Africa in focus 🔍
Highlights from recent events
We are excited to see the increasing focus on Africa and the opportunities it presents. To us, this topic feels natural and welcome as we have been on this path already since 2018, building the bridge between African talent and European business needs.
Recently, we participated in two events that were exploring this opportunity area: TechBBQ 2025 and a seminar titled "The labour market's future technical employees from Africa" co-organised by EIFO and Nordic-African Consultancy. It was great to engage with key stakeholders and explore cooperation with businesses.
This may be new to many companies, but our journey into Africa is one which has grown to produce visible results in our Apprenticeship Program, and Remote IT services launched a year ago.
Europe’s working-age population is shrinking, so addressing this future bottleneck is crucial through long-term partnerships in Africa. Skilled talent is available and there are limitless possibilities that could lead to a win-win situation for both Europe and Africa.
On industrial projects, getting installations right from the start prevents costly rework and minimises future downtime. This is crucial to ensure peace of mind for our customers and optimize total cost of ownership.

Strengthening vocational education across borders 🌍
Study visit to technical schools in Denmark
Eryk is proud to be contributing to shaping the future of technical education.🤝
Together with the Consulate of Denmark in Lagos, we welcomed a delegation from Nigeria’s National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to Denmark. The visit focused on strengthening vocational education and exploring opportunities for collaboration between Nigeria and Denmark.
Delegates visited Danish technical schools and industrial sites to gain insights into best practice in training and skills development. Among the schools visited was Skive College, where Eryk technicians are currently gaining advanced technical knowledge and skills.
We also recently celebrated the 10th anniversaries of our colleagues who continue to shape our success at Eryk.
Each anniversary is a story of growth, projects delivered, challenges overcome, ideas realised, teamwork and friendships. The impact shapes who we are today. We appreciate each person for being such an important part of our journey!
